Things you should know...

Chronicles of Riddick is set on three main settings.

Crematoria
A deadly place. During the day, the sun is over 4 000 degrees, during the night, its 30 degrees. Get caught in the sun, and your fried. The slammer that never sees daylight, save when it goes to swap hot air. Full of inmates and Convicts, you watch your own skin. Merc's come occasionally to drop of a wanted crook, always fresh meat for the beast that are locked up. Once a day, At feeding time, Ferocious beasts come to play. They have wolf-like bodies, and Scale-like skin, deadly animals. They lower the population in Crematoria, so watch your back.

The Rock

They say that in cryogenic sleep, only part of your brain shuts down. The side thats left...the animal side.
After escaping the maximum prison and being marooned with other passengers. With seemingly unlimited day, to the west is two suns, the the Right a bright blue sun. But what happened, when 22 years pass in the month of October... and two planets block out the suns, moving as one for as long as 3 months? Easy... Creatures with an appetite for flesh come out. The light burns them, and with limited items...can you get off the rock, and away from the mad Aliens?

Helion Prime

A land devoted to diversity and religion. A great place to hide. A great place to leave close friend when the Merc's are after you. Things get worse with the world-enders come.The Necromongers, a religious group dedicated to the belief that another universe known as 'the Underverse' exists in which the line between life and death becomes meaningless, is sweeping across the universe, destroying planets and annihilating all of those who come into their path and do not convert. Led by the powerful Lord Marshall, the story also focuses on one of his officers, the rather Macbeth-Esq Lord Vaako and his cunning wife, Dame Vaako, who seek to overthrow the Lord Marshall and take his place. As the Necromongers move to invade Helion Prime, the planet is visited by one of the Elementals, five races that take on the embodiments of air, water, fire, earth, and ether. An air elemental named Aeron seeks information on a race called Furyans, who are foretold to be the only ones capable of defeating the Lord Marshall and is Necromongers. It is believed that all of the Furyans are dead, destroyed in a genocidal sweep by the Lord Marshall to prevent his own downfall. It is then that Imam realizes that Riddick may be one of these Furyans, and conspires with Aeron to place a bounty on Riddick's head in order to bring him out of hiding.
